Code cards: ACLS, BLS, PALS — fully offline.

Algorithm cards for ACLS, BLS, PALS, sepsis, stroke, and STEMI. Educational decision-support — your code team and facility protocols are the source of truth.

When a code happens, your AHA card is wherever you left it last shift. Your phone is in your pocket. RN PocketPal’s code cards are designed to be glance-readable in the first 30 seconds — algorithm at the top, drug doses below, intervals visible without scrolling.

What RN PocketPal does

  • ACLS algorithms: cardiac arrest, ROSC, bradycardia, tachycardia, ACS, suspected stroke.
  • BLS sequences: adult, pediatric, infant.
  • PALS algorithms: pediatric cardiac arrest, bradycardia, tachycardia.
  • Sepsis bundle (3-hour and 6-hour), stroke pathway, STEMI pathway.
  • Drug dose tables included on each card. Verify against facility protocol.
  • 100% offline.

Who it’s for

Bedside RNs and LPNs in acute care, ED, ICU, step-down, peri-op, and rapid-response teams. Useful for code refresher between certification cycles, not a substitute for formal AHA-recognized ACLS / BLS / PALS training.

Frequently asked questions

Does this replace my AHA certification?
No. RN PocketPal’s code cards are educational reference; AHA-recognized ACLS, BLS, and PALS training and certification remain required for clinical practice.
How current are the algorithms?
Algorithms are updated when published guidelines change (e.g. AHA ACLS updates). Each card is stamped with a “Last reviewed” date so you can see at a glance whether your reference is current.
Are the drug doses standardized?
Doses follow widely-cited published values. Always verify against your facility’s code cart drug card and pharmacy-approved dosing for the specific patient.
Can I jump straight to a specific algorithm?
Yes. Code cards open to a quick-pick screen — pick the algorithm and the page renders in one tap.
Does it work offline?
Yes — fully offline. Designed for hospital environments where Wi-Fi is unreliable.
