Common questions
Quick answers.
Where does my brain sheet live?
On your device by default. RN PocketPal is designed for no intentional PHI storage; cloud-backed features such as AI, Marketplace, support, and community tools prohibit PHI and use redaction where available.
I lost my brain sheet — can support recover it?
If your platform backup includes the time the brain sheet existed, restoring the device may recover it. Because support cannot read your local brain sheet data, we can't recover anything that wasn't in your own device backup. That trade-off is by design.
How do I cancel my Pocketpal Pro subscription?
Use the subscription settings for the store where you subscribed: Apple ID Subscriptions or Google Play Subscriptions. No retention call. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period and you keep access until then.
Will it work on iPad?
Yes — the iPhone build runs on iPad via Apple's scaling. A native iPad-first layout (with split-view brain sheet + reference) is on the roadmap.
Is Android available?
Android is built as a first-class Kotlin app with feature parity goals across shared nurse-facing tools. Platform-specific UI still follows Material on Android and HIG on iOS.
I think I found a bug — what do I do?
Send a ticket via /support with a clear repro: which screen, what you tapped, what you expected, what happened. Attach screenshots if relevant. We respond within one business day. Beta members can also tag bugs via the in-app feedback button.
If none of that helps
Three ways to reach a human.
All three land in the same inbox. Pick the path that fits the question.
A note on patient information.
Please don’t include patient names, MRNs, DOBs, room numbers, or any PHI in support tickets or emails. We auto-redact obvious patterns, but the safest rule is to keep that information at the bedside. Read the disclaimer.
