Why $5/mo and not $20 like everyone else?
$20+/mo turns a daily-driver tool into a deliberation every renewal. $5/mo lands below the "do I really need this?" threshold most people apply to subscriptions. We’d rather have you using the app daily for years than agonising over whether it’s worth keeping each quarter. Same number, simpler decision.
How do I cancel?
Use the same store subscription settings where you signed up: Apple ID Subscriptions or Google Play Subscriptions. Same path as signup. No retention call, no win-back funnel, no five-step exit interview.
Is there a free trial?
Yes — 14 days of Pocketpal Pro on first install. Apple’s standard trial-via-subscription pattern. No credit card required to start the trial.
What about students?
Student RN / Student LPN / Student CNA roles get a Care Plan tile in their default toolkit plus access to clinical-rotation-specific specialties. Same Pro price; we have not announced a separate student tier yet but it’s on the roadmap.
Will the price go up?
If we ever raise prices for new subscribers, existing subscribers keep their original price for the life of the subscription (locked-in pricing). That’s the same protection Apple Music and Spotify offer.
Refunds?
Refunds are handled by Apple/Google per their store policies. Apple typically grants refunds for first-time annual subscriptions within 90 days if the buyer requests one through reportaproblem.apple.com. We don’t process refunds directly because we never touch your card.
Family sharing?
Disabled. RN PocketPal is a professional tool — each licensed nurse should have their own license tracking, CE log, and brain sheets, not a shared household account.
