Nurses know what nurses need. The founding RN designed the toolkit from 14 years on the floor, but no single nurse’s experience covers every specialty, every shift type, every facility quirk. The clinical advisory group + beta cohort caught a lot in pre-launch, but the real spec lives in the heads of every nurse who reaches for the app and finds something missing.
Suggestions is the path from "this is missing" to "here’s the build." Tap from the Profile tab; the AI duplicate checker compares your idea with the existing roadmap, the founder + clinical team reviews, accepted suggestions ship with the next update + pay Care Coins.
What RN PocketPal does
- 5 suggestion types. New tool · new hobby/tag · new specialty · missing reference entry · bug report · "other."
- AI duplicate checker.Submits get checked against the existing app catalog so you don’t accidentally re-submit "we already have this."
- Care Coin payouts. Accepted suggestions pay variable coins by type — 5 for a hobby tag, 25 for a reference entry, 50 for a new tool concept. Daily cap 50 coins across the suggestion path.
- Implementation bonus. When the suggestion actually ships, the submitter gets a second-stage bonus payout up to 50 coins.
- Trending list.See what other nurses are asking for. Vote (Care Coins don’t change but the ordering does).

- Who reviews the suggestions?
- The founding RN reviews each one personally; the clinical advisory group reviews anything that touches a clinical-decision-support tool. Bug reports go straight to engineering triage.
- How long does it take to ship?
- Reference-content updates can ship in days (data file replacement). New tool concepts go on the roadmap and ship in monthly app updates if approved. Bug fixes ship as soon as they're built.
- What's the daily cap?
- 50 Care Coins from the suggestion path per day. Designed to reward power-contributors without enabling farming.
