Frequently asked questions

Does this replace the ED tracking board?
No. The tracking board is the team's source of truth. RN PocketPal is your personal organizer for the patients you're directly responsible for.
Can I track door-to-disposition times?
Yes. Each patient has timestamps for triage, room placement, and disposition. Useful for personal reflection, not for performance reporting.
What about pediatric ED?
The ED variant works for both adult and peds. For peds-specific weight-based dosing, the drip & dose calculator handles it.
Does it work in low-connectivity ED rooms?
Yes — fully offline.
