  • A board of cases where the order changes twice before first incision.
  • Positioning, prep, and equipment needs that differ every case.
  • Counts and implant/lot documentation you cannot afford to lose track of.

What RN PocketPal does

  • Per-case page: surgeon, procedure, position, prep, and special equipment.
  • Count checkpoints (initial, closing, final) as a personal reminder — not a substitute for the official count.
  • Implant / lot / expiration free-text capture for your own reference.
  • Allergy and code-status banner carried into the case.
  • Room-turnover checklist and next-case preview.

Frequently asked questions

Does this replace the official surgical count?
No. The official count follows your facility's policy and documentation. RN PocketPal's checkpoints are a personal reminder only — never the system of record.
Can I track multiple cases in a day?
Yes. Cases are a scrollable list you can reorder as the board changes, each with its own page.
Where does implant/lot info live?
In free-text fields on your iPhone for your own reference. Official implant documentation goes in the record per policy.
Does it work for ambulatory / same-day surgery?
Yes — the perioperative variant fits ASC and same-day settings; toggle off rows you don't use.
